Self-defence

This is one of our most effective skills because it means you can protect yourself if you are attacked or threatened. Being aware of your surroundings and anticipate dangerous situations is a skill you will learn. Remember the best self defence is not to be there in the first place. And it teaches you how to avoid these situations.

Power

We teach you how to use the power already in your bodies to help stop an opponent and defend. Power helps to release tension and uses more energy therefore helps you get fitter.

Power can also reduce stress and anxiety as your body releases endorphins improving mood and confidence.

Balance

This is one of our most important skills because if you want to defend an attack you need to be able to maintain good posture and balance.
Having balance gives you more time to focus on observing the opponent and this time can make your reactions faster and more effective.

Focus

Without focus there is no way to improve. Focus allows us to be clear about what we need, how to react in certain circumstances and how to think more clearly especially in challenging situations.
Tae-fit creates the environment for focus to be sustained and enhanced.
